You can swatch in the round using the suggested DPNs, two circulars or one long circular for magic-loop. We liked using needles with a more slippery finish and pointier tip.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMake note of your unblocked gauges - both stitches and rows are very important here! We even suggest that you make two tubular swatches, launder one, and keep the other as a reference for your unwashed knitting.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen drying your swatch (and, afterward your finished skirt), make sure the piece is completely dry coming out of the dryer. This will be your finished, blocked gauge.
